Project Summary
Our Foundation will build a Dr Musa Manzi Education Centre, a centre that will assist most learners from the Ndwedwe community with facilities such as computers, libraries, playgrounds and including other educational and recreational facilities. The centre will also host Saturday classes for youth between grades 8 to 12 for extra Mathematics, Physical Science and English classes. These extra lessons will be taught by volunteers who are professionally trained in these subjects.
Our centre will also host social and networking activities through annual holiday clubs, and extra mural activities such as drama, chess, spelling bees, puzzles and general knowledge quizzes. The centre will host annual sporting events such as football and netball, to help youth in these areas enjoy recreational experiences that can help them build their mental health and distract them from glaring social ills.
We envisage that these activities will positively impact the livelihood of majority of young people, they will also improve their confidence, networking skills, and contribute towards their academic results.
